Qualified clinical supervisor with the Psychotherapists and Counsellors Federation of Australia (PACFA) as well as with the Christian Counsellors Association of Australia (CCAA)

Since 2015, Ian has worked with fellow therapists to provide supervision at both individual and group levels to meet industry standards as well as professional and personal development. There are generally six areas for consideration in supervision. If it is a time for review, providing information on administration issues and finding support with difficult issues or clients. It is also sometimes a place to be educated in industry developments, review self-care or explore business or practice developments.

    From your first phone conversation Ian is right beside you for your entire journey. He uses a warm and relaxed style, while keeping the time focused and structured. He utilises evidenced based psychotherapy practices, creative tools, and a whole person approach.

    He works early or late during the week to meet his clients’ needs.

    2:00PM to 9:00PM  Mondays

    8:00AM to 9:00PM  Tuesday to Thursdays.

    The duration of counselling can vary from one session to several years, depending on circumstances. This subject would be discussed at the first meeting and generally, three to six sessions are allowed for and then this is reviewed.
